About VITEEE 2024

VITEEE 2024 VIT released the syllabus of VITEEE 2024 in online mode. Before, VITEEE 2024 operation form was released on December 2, 2023. Applicants will be suitable to register till the last VITEEE 2022 enrollment date. Campaigners will also be suitable to pierce the VITEEE operation form in offline mode. Campaigners should check the eligibility criteria of VITEEE 2022 beforehand. Also, operation form of VITEEE must be submitted before the last date. The Vellore Institute of Technology will conduct VITEEE 2024 as a computer- grounded test. Applicants preparing for the test must relate to the VITEEE syllabus to stay apprehensive of the motifs and sub-topics on which the question paper will be grounded.

Nationality:

The applicant should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National / PIO.

Foreign Candidates studied/studying abroad can apply directly through foreign category only at https://admissions.vit.ac.in/ugirapplication/

Age Limit :
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2000 are eligible to apply for UG Engineering admission (UGEA) 2024. The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates should produce this certificate in original as a proof of their age at the time of counselling / admission, failing which they will be disqualified.

Qualifying Examination:
Candidates applying for UG Engineering admission should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2024, in any one of the following qualifying examinations:

The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), New Delhi.

Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.

High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.

General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

As per VIT Norms, Regular 'NIOS' board candidates are also eligible for Undergraduate Engineering programmes. Applicants should produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining.

They should also provide the marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Total (including all subjects) and upload the scanned copy of the mark list and other relevant documents whenever available on the application form.

For Indian nationals/ NRI/ PIO card holder, appearance in VITEEE-24 is mandatory to be eligible for B. Tech. admission under regular mode (Applicants under International/NRI quota exempted) . In case VITEEE gets cancelled due to natural calamities, qualifying criteria may be substituted with higher secondary marks or JEE-24 or a valid SAT. Applicants will be informed with specifics in such case.

Eligibility Criteria For The Qualifying Examination:

Candidates applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2024 should have secured minimum aggregate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).

Candidates applying for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in 2024 should have passed with minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate) for the following categories:

Candidates belonging to SC/ST

Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. CERTIFICATE TO PROVE COMMUNITY / NATIVITY should be produced at the time of counseling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

Subject Eligibility:

Candidates having studied Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry in +2 / Higher Secondary Board are eligible for all the B.Tech. Programmes
Candidates having studied Biology/Physics/Chemistry in +2/ Higher Secondary Board are eligible for the following Bio stream programs only. Upon joining, the students need to mandatorily register for a bridge course in Mathematics

B.Tech. Bio-engineering(VIT-Bhopal)
B.Tech. Biotechnology(VIT, Vellore)
B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Bioinformatics(VIT, Vellore)
B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Specialization in Health Informatics) (VIT-Bhopal)

Admission Process:
Selection is based on the rank secured through CBT (Computer Based Test).
Selected candidates will be called for online counselling based on their ranking.
Eligible Candidates may select specific campus and programme during the Counselling.
After payment of full fees classes will be conducted online / reporting in person to the Institution.
Candidates are expected to prove their genuineness on joining.

How to fill VITEEE Application Form 2024 online?
1st Step - VITEEE 2024 Registration – Visit the official website- vit.ac.in and click on the new registration link for B.Tech admissions. Candidates will have to register by providing their name, date of birth, gender, nationality, mobile number, and email id. The login password will be sent by the authorities into the registered email id of candidates. 

2nd Step - Filling of VITEEE 2024 Application Form – After completing the VIT registration 2024, the next step requires filling the application form. Candidates will have to provide information about their personal, educational, qualifying exam, and contact details. After all these details are submitted, the application number will be generated. 

3rd Step - Payment of VIT Application Fee – The candidates have to pay the required application fee through net banking/credit card/debit card.

VITEEE 2024- Application Fee:

4th Step - Uploading of Photograph and Signature – The scanned images of the candidate’s photograph and the signature has to be uploaded according to the specifications mentioned by the authorities in the brochure. After the uploading process is accomplished, the candidates have to finally submit their VIT application form 2022.

5th Step - Final Submission - Candidates need to check all details provided on the online application form of VITEEE 2022 before doing the final submission. Download the filled-in application form as a PDF file and take a printout of the same.
