Fee Structure

  • The annual tuition fee (MBBS) is around INR 26,250

  • Hostel / room rent, electricity, and other ancillary charges apply (e.g. ~ INR 1,500 for rent, ~ INR 2,000 for electricity in non-AC rooms)

  • Additional fees: university examination fee, lab/medical equipment, consumables, security deposit, etc.

  • These fees are subsidized as it is a government institution

  • In NEET UG Round 2 (All India Quota, General category) for 2025, the closing rank was ~ 21,156

  • In 2024, the Round 2 closing rank for General category was ~ 20,960

  • OBC (AIQ) closing rank (Round 2, 2025) ~ 21,469

  • The closing ranks for SC / ST / other categories are generally much higher (less favorable)

  • Under state quota (JKBOPEE) the cutoffs will differ (domicile, category, etc.)
