NESTS, Tata Motors & Ex-Navodayan Foundation Unite to Ignite Tribal Talent for JEE/NEET Success

In a powerful step toward educational equity, the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) has joined hands with Tata Motors and the Ex-Navodayan Foundation to empower tribal youth with focused preparation for India’s most competitive entrance exams—JEE and NEET.

Bridging Opportunity with Access

This strategic collaboration aims to identify and nurture bright tribal students across the country, especially those with high academic potential but limited resources. By providing specialized coaching, mentorship, and holistic academic support, the initiative bridges the gap between talent and opportunity, ensuring that no deserving student is left behind.

A Unique Model of Empowerment

The partnership brings together the unique strengths of each stakeholder:

  • NESTS, under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, contributes its extensive network of Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) and a deep understanding of tribal education needs.

  • Tata Motors, through its CSR arm, supports the mission by funding academic programs, digital learning infrastructure, and capacity building.

  • Ex-Navodayan Foundation, an alumni-driven non-profit, designs and delivers rigorous academic training, especially in STEM subjects, leveraging its pool of IITians, doctors, and educators.

Impact at the Grassroots

Already, pilot programs have demonstrated remarkable results, with students showing significant improvement in conceptual clarity, test performance, and confidence. The collaboration also includes soft skills development, regular assessments, and parent engagement sessions, ensuring a 360-degree approach to success.

Voices of Change

Speaking on the partnership, a NESTS official remarked, This initiative is more than just coaching; it’s about rewriting the future of tribal communities through education.” A Tata Motors CSR spokesperson added, We believe in transforming lives through education, and this alliance allows us to do that meaningfully.”

The Road Ahead

With plans to expand to more states and reach thousands of students annually, this initiative marks a milestone in inclusive education. Together, NESTS, Tata Motors, and the Ex-Navodayan Foundation are lighting the path for tribal youth to crack India’s toughest exams—and pursue their dreams.
