The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a document advisory for candidates planning to apply for NEET UG 2026, ahead of the opening of the registration window.

The NTA has advised aspirants to keep all required documents ready before filling out the NEET UG 2026 application form to avoid last-minute errors and delays.


Documents to Keep Ready

Candidates must ensure availability of the following:

  • Recent passport-size photograph

  • Scanned signature

  • Valid photo identity proof

  • Class 10 certificate for date of birth verification

  • Category or PwD certificate (if applicable)


Upload Instructions

According to the notice, documents must be uploaded in the prescribed format, size, and resolution. Incorrect or blurred uploads may lead to rejection of the application.


Personal Details Must Match Records

The NTA has stressed that details such as name, date of birth, and category entered in the application form must exactly match official documents. Discrepancies may cause issues during verification or counselling.
