The NEET UG 2025 Round 1 counselling process has officially started today, July 21, as announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates who scored above the NEET UG 2025 cutoff are eligible to participate and secure their spot in India’s top government and private medical institutions.
This year, over 12 lakh students cleared the NEET UG exam and will now compete for nearly 1.15 lakh MBBS seats across the country.

How to Register for NEET UG 2025 Counselling?
Follow the steps below to successfully register at mcc.nic.in:
Visit the official MCC website.
Click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ section on the homepage.
Select NEET UG 2025 Registration link.
Enter your personal and academic details, create a password, and submit the form.
Pay the required registration fee and download the confirmation page.
Take a printout of the filled application form for future reference.

NEET UG 2025 Admit Card (Issued by NTA)
NEET UG Result/Rank Letter
NEET Seat Allotment Letter (Issued by MCC)

NEET UG 2025 Counselling Fees Structure
For 15% All India Quota (AIQ) & Central Universities:
General/EWS: 1,000 (INR)
SC/ST/OBC/PwD: 500 (INR)
Refundable Security Deposit:
10,000 (INR) for General/EWS
5,000 (INR) for Reserved Categories
For Deemed Universities:
Registration Fee: 5,000 (INR) (for all categories)
Refundable Security Deposit: 2,00,000 (INR)
How to Confirm NEET Counselling Registration?
After submission, a registration slip will be generated. Download and print this slip for your records. During the choice-filling window, candidates must list their preferred colleges and courses. Selections can be edited before final locking.
Once each round concludes, seat allotment results will be released. These will include:
Candidate's Name, Roll Number, and Category
Allocated College and Course
Admission Quota (AIQ/Deemed etc.)
During final admission at the allotted college, candidates must carry all original documents for verification.
