The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued safety and security guidelines for JEE Main 2025. Candidates are required to adhere to several measures outlined in these guidelines.
The exam will be monitored using advanced technologies, including AI and centralized CCTV surveillance. Here are the key details:
AI Monitoring and Security Measures
Three-Level Checking: During the exam, candidates will undergo three levels of security checks.
AI Monitoring: Centralized monitoring will be conducted through CCTV and AI technology. If a candidate’s data does not match during the thumb impression process, the issue will be immediately reported to the NTA office in Delhi.
QR Code Scanning: This year, thumb impressions will not be taken at examination centers. Instead, students’ admit cards and identity cards will be scanned using QR codes.
Dress Code for Candidates
To ensure fairness and security, a strict dress code has been implemented:
Allowed Attire: Jeans, salwar suits, kurtas, long skirts, trousers, T-shirts, and shirts.
Prohibited Attire: Shoes, full-sleeve shirts, clothes with large buttons, dark or tight clothing.
Jewelry Restrictions: Candidates cannot wear jewelry, except for certain religious items like Kirpan, Mangalsutra, or Bichhiya. Those wearing such items should arrive early for additional checks.
Exam Schedule:
Paper 1 Dates: January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2025.
Paper 2 Date: January 30, 2025.
Exam Timings:
Morning Session: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Afternoon Session: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Reporting Time:
For the morning session, entry is allowed between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM.
For the afternoon session, entry is allowed between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM.
Entry will be restricted 30 minutes before the start of the exam to ensure security protocols are followed.
Examination Centers
Examination centers for JEE Main 2025 have been set up in 284 cities across the country, AI monitoring will be implemented.
