The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the schedule for JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2. As per the notification, online applications will be accepted from February 1 to February 25, 2026, through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The JEE (Main) Session 2 examination is scheduled to be conducted between April 2 and April 9, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at various centres across India and abroad.
Candidates who have already appeared for Session 1 can log in and make changes in permitted fields such as course (paper), medium of question paper, examination cities, and fee payment. Meanwhile, new candidates applying directly for Session 2 must complete the full online registration process.
The NTA has clarified that:
Applications will be accepted only in online mode.
Only one application per candidate is allowed.
Candidates must ensure that their email ID and mobile number are active and belong to them or their parents/guardians, as all official communication will be sent via registered contact details.
JEE (Main) is a national-level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes (B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning) at NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and also serves as the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced.
