How to Calculate JEE Main 2026 Score Using Answer Key?

Candidates can estimate their scores by matching the response sheet with the official answer key.

Marking Scheme:

• Correct answer: +4 marks

• Incorrect answer: –1 mark

• Unattempted: 0 marks

Steps:

1. Download the response sheet and provisional answer key

2. Match your answers with the official key

3. Add marks for correct answers

4. Deduct marks for incorrect answers

5. Calculate your estimated score

Difference Between JEE Main Answer Key & Response Sheet

JEE Main 2026 Result Date (Session 1)

NTA has confirmed that the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result will be announced by February 12.

The result will include:

• Subject-wise percentile (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)

• Overall percentile score

 Ranks and cutoffs will NOT be released with Session 1 result.

Along with the result, NTA will announce Session 1 toppers.
