Foreign Nationals Can Now Apply for JEE Advanced 2026 – Registration Begins Today

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has started the JEE Advanced 2026 registration process for foreign national and OCI/PIO (F) candidates from April 6, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website — jeeadv.ac.in.

The registration window for foreign candidates will remain open until May 2, 2026, while the last date for fee payment is May 4, 2026.

Who Can Apply as Foreign National or OCI/PIO Candidate?

As per the official information bulletin:

• Candidates who are not Indian citizens (by birth or naturalization) are considered foreign nationals
• These candidates are allotted supernumerary seats, capped at 10% of total seats in each course
• They are not eligible for reservation under categories like GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, or PwD
• No separate quota exists for female candidates in foreign national seats

Special Note for OCI/PIO Candidates

• Candidates who obtained OCI/PIO cards before March 4, 2021, can choose to apply:
  • As foreign nationals, or
  • At par with Indian candidates
