"Indraprastha University MBBS Admission 2025: Seat Matrix and Eligibility Details Explained"

New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will conduct MBBS admissions for the 2025 academic session through the NEET UG 2025 score. Candidates seeking MBBS admission under IP University must qualify NEET UG and participate in the counselling process conducted by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee).

Seats Offered for MBBS under IP University
The MBBS admissions in IPU are primarily offered through the following medical colleges affiliated with the university:

Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) & Safdarjung Hospital-170%
Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital-125%
NDMC Medical College-60%
Army College of Medical Sciences (ACMS)-100%
Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital-100%
Total MBBS Seats: Around 555 seats are expected to be offered, distributed across these colleges.

Seat Distribution:
85% State Quota Seats: Reserved for Delhi domicile candidates.
15% All India Quota (AIQ): Filled through MCC counselling.
ACMS Seats: Available only for children of eligible Army personnel.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for MBBS admission under GGSIPU, candidates must:

Have qualified NEET UG 2025.
Be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025.
Have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English with at least 50% marks (40% for reserved categories).
Fulfill domicile requirements for Delhi Quota (where applicable).
Admission Process
Apply and appear for NEET UG 2025.
Register for MCC Counselling for AIQ seats.
For Delhi State Quota seats, IPU will release its own counselling registration and merit list based on NEET scores.
