NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round 3 Seat Allotment Result Delayed

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has postponed the NEET UG 2025 Round 3 seat allotment result, which was earlier expected to be released this week. According to the revised schedule, the Round 3 seat allotment result will now be announced on October 11, 2025.

Candidates who participated in Round 3 of NEET UG Counselling can check their allotment results once released through the official MCC website — mcc.nic.in.

Reason for Delay

The postponement comes after the addition of 139 new MBBS seats across multiple states. These include:

  • Delhi (NCT): 42 seats

  • Gujarat: 25 seats

  • Haryana: 15 seats

  • Maharashtra: 25 seats

  • Punjab: 25 seats

  • Uttar Pradesh: 7 seats

The inclusion of new seats required updates to the seat matrix, prompting the MCC to extend the result date to ensure fair allocation.

Revised Schedule

  • Seat Allotment Result Release: October 11, 2025

  • Reporting to Allotted Institutes: October 9 – 17, 2025

  • Data Verification by Institutes: October 18 – 19, 2025

Candidates allotted a seat must report to their respective institutes within the given timeframe for document verification and admission formalities.
