CBSE cancels Class 10 board exams in the Middle East; Class 12 exam scheduled for March 7 postponed — check official notice.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled the Class 10 board examinations scheduled in several Middle Eastern countries and postponed the Class 12 exam that was to be held on March 7, 2026. The decision was announced through an official circular issued by the board.

According to the notification, the Class 10 exams scheduled between March 7 and March 11, 2026 have been cancelled for CBSE-affiliated schools in countries including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Iran.

Meanwhile, the Class 12 examination scheduled for March 7 has been postponed, and the revised date will be announced later after the situation in the region is reviewed.

CBSE stated that the decision was taken due to the prevailing security situation in the Middle East, and further details regarding the result declaration for affected Class 10 students will be announced separately.
