CBSE Board Exams 2026: Application Schedule Released for Class 10 & 12 Private Candidates — Apply by September 30
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official schedule for the application process for Class 10 and 12 private candidates appearing for the CBSE Board Exams 2026. The board has also issued circulars regarding the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) and the activation of the web module for CWSN (Children With Special Needs) candidates seeking various exemptions during the exams.
Alongside this, CBSE has published the application timelines for private candidates who plan to appear for the 2026 board exams as independent candidates.

Application Window Now Open
The CBSE has stated that private candidates must submit their exam forms by September 30, 2025 to avoid a late fee. However, the application portal will remain open from October 3 to October 11, 2025, with a late fee.
