Reading of Galvanometer

$i_{g} = (\frac{S}{G + S}) i = (\frac{S}{G + S}) (\frac{2}{R + \frac{G S}{G + S}})$

$i_{g} = \frac{2 S}{R (G + S) + G S} = C θ = \frac{C}{y}$

Now on y axis $\frac{1}{θ} = y,$ and on x-axis R

$\Rightarrow y = \frac{C}{2 S} (R (G + S) + G S) = \frac{(G + S) C}{2 S} R + \frac{C G}{2}$

$\frac{C G}{2} = \frac{1}{2} \Rightarrow C G = 1 and slope = \frac{1}{4} = \frac{(G + S) C}{2 S}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{C (G + S)}{S} = \frac{1}{2}$
