$\frac{250 mA \times 5}{5 + R_{G}} = i$ ...(i)

$i = \frac{25}{1050 + R_{G}}$ ...(ii)

$From (i) and (ii),$

$\frac{25}{1050 + R_{G}} = \frac{5}{4 (5 + R_{G})}$

$100 (5 + R_{G}) = 1050 \times 5 + R_{G} \times 5$

$95 R_{G} = 4750 \Rightarrow R_{G} = 50 Ω$
