2 $m \propto \frac{1}{V}$

3 $m \propto \sqrt{V}$

We know that the radius of the nucleus,

$R = R_{0} A^{1 / 3},$ where $A$ is the mass number.

$∴$ $R^{3} = R_{0}^{3} A$

Volume, $V = \frac{4}{3} π R^{3} = \frac{4}{3} π R_{0}^{3} A$

$∴$ $Mass \propto Volume$
