JEE Main 2022 held on 29 July in Shift 2 was considered overall moderate by most candidates. The Physics section included a mix of conceptual and formula-based numerical questions, mainly from mechanics, current electricity, and modern physics. Chemistry was largely NCERT-based and balanced across organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry, making it scoring for prepared students. Mathematics was comparatively lengthy and time-consuming, with questions from calculus, algebra, and coordinate geometry. This shift tested students’ conceptual clarity, calculation speed, and time management skills effectively.
