Overview

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is India’s single national-level entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, BUMS, Veterinary, and other AYUSH undergraduate courses. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET is the gateway to over 1.5 lakh medical seats across government, private, and deemed universities in India.

For the 2026 academic session, NEET-UG will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode across India and abroad. The syllabus is strictly based on NCERT Class 11 & 12, and the exam will be held in multiple languages.
