Overview

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is India’s single national-level entrance examination for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, BUMS, Veterinary, and other AYUSH undergraduate courses. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET is the gateway to over 1.5 lakh medical seats across government, private, and deemed universities in India.

For the 2026-2027 academic session, NEET-UG is expected to be held in May 2026, in offline (pen-and-paper) mode. The exam will be conducted in 13+ languages, with an updated syllabus aligned to NCERT (Class 11 & 12).

Class 12: Current Electricity, Magnetism, Optics, Dual Nature of Radiation, Semiconductor Devices.

Chemistry

Class 11: Atomic Structure, Periodicity, Chemical Bonding, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium.
Class 12: Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Coordination Compounds, Organic Chemistry, Biomolecules.
