$E_{eq} = \frac{\frac{12}{3} - \frac{6}{6}}{\frac{1}{3} + \frac{1}{6}} = 6 V$

$R_{eq} = 2 Ω and R = 4 Ω$

$So, i = \frac{6}{2 + 4} = 1 A$
