To increase the fringe angular width to $0 . 21^{o}$ (with same $λ$ and D), the separation between the slits needs to be changed to [2018]

Angular width $= \frac{λ}{d}$

$0.20 ° = \frac{λ}{2 mm} and 0.21 ° = \frac{λ}{d}$

On dividing we get, $\frac{0.20}{0.21} = \frac{d}{2 mm}$ $∴$ $d = 1.9$ $mm$
