$Using average rate of Newton's law of cooling$

$\frac{T_{1} - T_{2}}{t} = K (\frac{T_{1} + T_{2}}{2} - T_{s})$

$Given \frac{60 - 40}{7} = K (50 - 10)$ ...(i)

$\frac{40 - T}{7} = K (\frac{40 + T}{2} - 10)$ ...(ii)
