Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of human resources operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, policy implementation, and ensuring a positive and productive work environment. The candidate should possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of HR practices and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for academic and non-academic staff.

Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Manage employee performance appraisal systems and career development plans.

Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and disciplinary procedures.

Maintain payroll coordination, attendance records, and leave management systems.

Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and institutional policies.

Organize employee engagement activities, training programs, and workshops.

Develop strategies for employee retention and workplace culture enhancement.

Maintain confidential HR records and documentation.

Prepare HR reports, staffing plans, and workforce analytics.

Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and performance tracking.


Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).

3–7 years of experience in HR management (education sector experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements.

Proven experience in recruitment and employee lifecycle management.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Proficiency in HR software, payroll systems, and MS Office tools.


Preferred Skills:

Experience in managing academic institutions or coaching centers.

Knowledge of HR analytics and workforce planning.

Ability to build strong organizational culture and employee engagement strategies.

Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
